For this week’s Cybersmart task we had to pair up and create a fictional story and play a game of tic tac toe. It was very quick and easy to complete I lost all of the games of tic tac toe some of them was a tie but it was very fun. My partners name was Mokoia. I enjoyed pairing up with her and it was very interesting to see the different ways to play.
Cybersmart challenge WK2
The Cybersmart challenge week 2 was called how do other countries celebrate new years. Some countries that were provided or given with the slides were Denmark, South Africa, Japan, South Korea ETC. And it was very interesting to learn about what other countries do to celebrate the new year. I think my favourite country that I was really captivated by was probably South Korea. Because it was very interesting how they return to their parents home town and then perform an ancestral dance to give them good luck for the new year ahead.
Cybersmart challenge week 7
For cybersmart challenge week 7 we had to come up with a animation. We had to use the characters that were provided and create a space animation. It was a very creative task to do. My one is about the astronaut coming to space in a rocket ship then coming to rescue a space creature and taking it home.
Cybersmart challenge week 6
For cybersmart challenge week 6 we had to do All about me. We had to come up with some facts or use the facts that were provided on the doc.After we finished writing our facts ECT we had to insert a photo of ourselves. Lastly we had change the colors of the background I chose these blue colors. And that was the task finished it was very easy to do and didn’t take up much time.
Waka ama
On Thursday (15 June 2023) Team Tui went on a Waka ama trip.They taught us how to paddle and what parts of the paddle you use and what there called. The top of the paddle is called a Tee grip and the middle of the paddle is called a shaft from the top to the bottom.And the bottom of the paddle is called a blade.It was such a great experience, and learning what all the names are for the parts of the paddle .

For today’s cybersmart challenge we had to use poly line and curve to write our name.
Team tui camp
Team Tui went on a trip to Camp Bentzon it was such a fun experience. I loved kayaking the most because we got to travel around the water on a kayak. I especially loved the downtime that we got to have because I got to get along with different people,vibe with them and laugh. I think that will always be a memory that I cherish the most because I got to know different people there personality and there character.
Bivouac building [CAMP]
At camp one of the activities was Bivouac building. My team Green Turtles had to use teamwork and communication to build a bivouac.A bivouac is a type of hut. We had to use sticks and bushes to try and build the best bivouac. We had a few up’s and down’s. In the end we had to try and fit in it. There was 10 people and all 10 people had to fit in the bivouac [hut] in the end we couldn’t all fit in the hut. Overall at the end of the day we used teamwork and communication.Which was our goal.

This is my that was summer writing. For this piece of writing Team Tui had to use senses for example seen,smelt,feel,tasted and many more senses. And use those senses to write about what we did in the holidays.
